About The Norfolk Project- Located in coastal Virginia, this 350-year-old city has a rich history and warm, hospitable residents. Norfolk's winding waterways and warm summer weather are a delight for visitors. However, like so many historic cities, Norfolk has a high number of people living at or below the poverty line. Many of these people have lived in their homes 40 years or more and are an important part of the fabric of their neighborhoods. They need your care, your loving heart, and your capable hands to give them new roofs and windows, to rebuild deteriorated porches, to paint, patch and repair. Most of all, this city needs you to bring new life to both these homes and homeowners. Lodging for this project will be at local church of school. This project is coordinated by a local coordinating team that really knows and understands the needs of the area. This is a great opportunity to continue to impact this coastal community for Christ.
